  1. Great news! I honestly wouldn't have guessed, mainly because it's not in the top 10 at the moment, and I'm not interested in horror movies in general.
  2. Obviously, I don't expect that. But who's to say that a smashing success for Sausage Party might make Disney or Pixar consider "harder" PGs or even PG-13. Or just make a few movies simply without children in mind.
  3. I take back everything negative I've said about this movie. I want it to make $250m dom and $200m os. Maybe then Pixar and WDAS will be emboldened to make movies that venture further from established tropes.
  4. Other guy pointed out One Piece Gold. It's going to be in a fuck ton of theaters, and it's most likely going to take away Finding Dory's biggest screens. It won't kill Dory's run, but it will be a little less lucrative.
  5. Might see this next week, so I'm bumping this thread.
  6. But don't you feel all edgy when you post pictures of a buttery, chocolaty confection whenever numbers are announced?
  7. It's not quite the gigantic smash hit I anticipated, though. http://mimorin2014.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-12474.html
  8. Yeah, those people who live in Alabama aren't going to the movies because of the failed coup in Turkey.
  9. I guess that's the exception. Titanic would be on the list if we knew its multiplier.
  10. Beauty and the Beast is pretty blah to me. I'm really not a fan of the story, really. One more thing about Zootopia, of course. I think it's the animated feature that Ralph Bakshi always wanted to make, but was never focused enough to do so. Knowing that two of his former proteges developed the movie backs this notion.
  11. I used to be even more obsessed with The Lion King than I am currently with Zootopia. But eh, I think Zootopia is much better as a film.
