  1. There's not a lot of hype for Phase 4 or 5. All the hype from the conference (sans BP2) was for stuff that's planned 4-5 years down the road. They need to actually produce good content before we say a new Avengers can surpass the old ones.
  2. wow that Marvel slate was overhyped and that's because we have TWO YEARS before FF. All the stuff released before that's meh... Maybe BP2 can be good. Coogler can do a great job but.. yeah Phase 4 and also Phase 5 are just whatever to me.
  3. This was a bad Summer aside from Top Gun. A real lack of depth. The Summer slate any better next year?
  4. I don't remember seeing "The Batman is a flop" on here.. is that a strawman? The Batman was the first movie in a new series and did close to $800M on an abbreviated theater run.. It also had really good legs and was a critical success. Hows that not a big hit all around?
  5. People tell me there's a plan but man.. not sure now. So far phase 4 just a bunch of random average (or even bad) solos. X-Men and/or FF can't come soon enough.
  6. Hopefully mods won't say my comp here a bad one but remember BvS went $165M OW or thereabouts and got to nearly $900M and Warner Bros. threw a tantrum. Huge OW or even decent total don't mean everyone go home happy..
  7. Always had MCU on a curve. 70% RT = probably 60% There's too many fanboys for a true 'Rotten'. Eternals was just so bad that nobody could defend.
  8. DS2 was not sold as just a sequel to Doctor Strange. DS2 was sold as an 'EVENT' w/ other Avengers and cameos.
  9. uhhh there's a lot of stuff that hasn't released over there (and over the years).. thats not just for DS2
  10. WB needs to drop the 45-day runs... Some ppl are just gonna go "hmm HBO Max" and not go to the theaters.
  11. We saw Top Gun yesterday..... WOW. Better than even expected. MOTY for me.... Easy. We don't deserve Tom.
