  1. Man, if this is true, this movie is turning out to be such a disservice to the character of Black Widow we all wanted to see in her own movie.
  2. THE GODDESS!! But seriously, her and Jenny Nicholson are probably the best YouTube has to offer regarding film criticism and analysis.
  3. I was craving for a BW movie for years, but now that she's dead, I don't care for it. I don't think a prequel can show significant character growth for her, she had a decent arc in previous movies, especially in CA:TWS, and I don't think there's much to say about her training. And the whole Budapest thing? Yeah, some stuff works better if they're not shown or explained in detail, but I guess modern franchise-making is not familiar with that...
  4. Is it too ambitious to hope that this is actually a sequel to Endgame and not a prequel? Fingers crossed...
  5. I never really understood the reserve people have when it comes to celebrating an evil man's death. David Koch was an evil man who used his money and power to push the world into chaos, and now he's dead. What's there to be sad about?
  6. *plays world's tiniest violin* On another note, I guess he now knows how hot it's in Amazon right now...😏
  7. Meh, I don't know in which direction they can go that we haven't seen already. The fox and the bunny didn't like each other, until they did, so now they're working together. Not much else to explore, IMO. 😂
  8. Well, of course you can, but these recent WDAS and Pixar sequels are turning to be quite corporate-looking. Finding Dory, Incredibles 2, WiR2, all good movies, but none of them reached or surpassed the quality of the originals. IMO, a sequel is justified only if the story is better than the original, and when that's not the case, you just have to enjoy the films you already have and wait for some other new property to love.
  9. Can't we just like a movie without wanting a sequel? Zootopia was so good because it was original, and while I loved it, I'm okay if we don't get a sequel to it, as WDAS will be able to focus on many more original films, like Zootopia was. It's okay to love something, but also not have a need to see it continued, and judging by recent slightly lackluster sequels from Pixar and WiR2, I'm not sure they'll be able to recapture the magic. Frozen 2 will be a test for me. If it disappoints me, I'm done with their sequels.
  10. I actually wouldn't mind if they go that route, I always feel sorry for underused characters that get killed off for other character's goals... 😂
  11. Oh yeah, I forgot about that, but is it even confirmed? Also, how can that time period further develop her character, she appears to be the same person in those two movies. Just bring her back with Infinity Stones, magic or whatever, and give the character what she deserves.
  12. I'm afraid I'm not quite interested in this one. Prequels about characters that we've seen grow and develop through several movies are just dumb, there's no point in just reversing completely to the beginning. I honestly wouldn't be mad at all if BW was brought back to life after Endgame, as her death wasn't as emotional as Tony's. It could've actually been interesting to see her maybe struggle to remember completely who she is, thus leading us into flashbacks of her earlier years as Black Widow, making the movie a bit more psychological than other MCU movies. Wasted opportunity, IMO.
  13. Big Little Lies is awesome these days, I wish they'll keep the momentum going with later episodes. The Handmaid's Tale, on the other hand, took a nosedive in quality with this season, they should start wrapping it up, there's just not much story left to tell.
  14. The queen has delivered!!! On another note, can we all just agree that Lindsay Ellis is by far the best YouTube critic, and one of the best overall? Like, she just dives deep into even the shittiest of the Hollywood products, I watched and loved the Bright analysis and I haven't even seen Bright.
  15. Impatiently waiting for the inevitable Lindsay Ellis' YouTube analysis...
  16. Wow, I just hope someone one day plays with your feelings the way you've played with those two girls' feelings...
  17. I won't talk about the plot or some decisions because you guys have said it all. However, the thing that saddens me the most is that the ending of my favourite show EVER, and it's not even close (it's actually better for me than all the films I've watched as well), didn't make any impression on me. The ending of RoTK is so emotional and powerful, truly bittersweet, it gets me every time, but this one, just nothing. All emotions were drained, there was only disappointment left, and that's the worst feeling they could've made me feel...
  18. IMO, people that negate all criticism by saying it's childish idiocy are the ones that are acting like children. There is nothing wrong with people voicing negative opinions about a show whose quality has dropped considerably. That doesn't mean we should torment the creators on social media or something like what we've seen with TLJ, but voicing negative opinion online and backing it with facts is perfectly normal, or at least better than burying your head in the sand and eating up every shit that some corporations or creators are feeding you because of "brand recognition".
