  1. 2 Seasons on UPN and then when UPN merged with WB to become CW just one more season on the CW
  2. Haha yup I definitely feel I love Spider-Man Homecoming far more than most on BOT
  3. TDK Trilogy is the best but I do prefer Captain America's arc over the course of his three films over Batman's.
  4. It was a shame we didn't get Raimi's Spider-Man 4 but the poor legs of Spider-Man 3 would have suggested that sequel would have dropped to sub $300M territory.
  5. Eh the teaser wasn't terrible and generally Pixar teasers either don't end up in the actual film or generally are pretty underwhelming. Cautiously optimistic but it has been a bit of a bumpy ride production wise for this film. Man though the animation looks gorgeous.
  6. The success of Venom also gets rid of the main negative of the Sony/Marvel deal which was that at best Sony was only going to be able to make a Spider-Man film every two years. Now with the success of Venom they can (depending on audience reception of other films of course) put out a superhero film every year while also keep Spider-Man being tied into the MCU. This all could change if Far From Home underperforms of course (which btw I've seen some predictions for that film to gross less than Homecoming which idk why that would happen).
  7. Yeah but Apocalypse underperformed at the box office while Venom continues to defy expectations. That said it would be silly of Sony to believe that just because Venom was a success that every Spider-Man villain film they do from now one will be a hit. But it's still crazy to think we live in a world where Venom might make $800M. Sony will now either think that 1. Cool we don't need Spider-Man back in our creative control because Venom can now be the launchpad for our superhero films. OR 2. Yeah we know what we're doing imagine if we cross over Spider-Man with Venom. Finally that $1 Billion we wanted for TASM films Regardless Venom has got to be in the discussion for some of the best box office runs of any superhero film.
  8. Once again the China Box Office never fails to surprise. Congrats again to Sony they're going to have another solid year at the box office and now in the space of two years have two new very viable franchises to keep them solid.
  9. I mean I also prefered the Shazam trailer to Captain Marvel and of course never say never but Captain Marvel simply has much more going for it for General Audiences than Shazam. Plus talking about trailers Captain Marvel is about double the views of the Shazam trailer. Jumanji also had the Christmas season too while Shazam's legs will be cut off completely once Avengers 4 hits.
  10. Eh wouldn't take note of anything John Campea says regarding box office. He's probably worse than Grace Randolph in that department.
  11. Why though? The first one was a very good success and Doctor Strange was considered one of the standouts in Infinity War which should boost any sequel he gets. If Ant-Man got a sequel this definitely will. I think Derrickson is all set to return but I'd agree I wouldn't mind a change in director. But the majority of Marvel directors are now coming back to do sequels (unlike Phase 1 and Phase 2) so if Feige was happy with now the first one was I don't think he would change it up.
  12. I would be surprised if this isn't the May 2020 MCU film but idk seems other projects are moving faster than this one.
  13. Yep this is probably a combination of The Flash being delayed and Marvel getting rid of their July 2020 release date. Sucks we have to wait more but it's not a bad decision at all. Also probably means The Batman will not be ready by 2020.
  14. I thought so too but there's literally nothing else. Black Panther 2 isn't coming til 2021 and I don't think Black Widow is a big enough film to get the coveted May spot.
