    Aside from the fairly obvious principles that 1) the longer until theaters reopen, the more every movie is hurt 2) movies with bad or medium reception will be affected the worst We really can’t say anything more at the moment. There is literally not a single living being on Earth with a good idea of how this will play out.

    It’s financially alright-ish with the low budget, should head for a 7M weekend or so. In the end it’s still yet another horribly received January horror movie that very few people will see and everyone forgets about in 2 weeks.

    There were 9 wide releases this January (pure January release, not counting 1917 or Just Mercy). They currently average under 40 on Critic RT (35 without BB) and 51 on Aud RT (45 without BB). Absolutely astonishing, of the 120 months we’ll have this decade the first might have the worst average RT %s for wide releases.
