The D+ shows seem to be coequal. I assume some characters will go show->movie->show->movie etc and some will go movie->show->movie and so on.

Well it’s not like this happens every time, one of the last 6 movies did miss. Maybe we’ll even see multiple misses in Phase 4, wouldn’t that be exciting 😛

I actually think it’s a solid idea that could allow some discussion to build between episodes without momentum falling off a bit later in the week, and it’s surprised me that no one has experimented with release plans in between “all at once” and “once per 168 hours.

I was surprised to find that the current population is actually closer in % to 10B than to population at time of Titanic. With fertility and growth rates slowing it might take until past 2050 to see a comparable amount of global pop growth, and I doubt cinema is in a recognizable state by that point.

I’d love to add ET, SW OT, JP, Jaws, Godfather, but I can only do % when I’m given raw admits, and Jat stuck to the most recent 25 years this summer to make the work more manageable (and because the info is more reliable and easily available, I assume).

Final day is coming along at a solid clip, above FFH at the same time now so maybe high 60s after all (or night will be slower, my dataset is still quite tiny 🤷♂️). I think I’d take the under on Bumblebee in USD though. -

So... maybe Matrix will be the most impactful news of the day in terms of what future movies actually look like, even if it certainly got buried in terms of day 1 conversations/attention.

I have another question that might be obvious to people more experienced with survivor: what happens if the person who received the most votes for elimination wins the immunity challenge? Is it: A) next most votes gets eliminated B ) no one eliminated that week C) vote again to eliminate someone who definitely won’t be immune D) something else Also how are ties broken, e.g. if one person receives one elimination vote and 2 other people get 3 each?
