    Marvel trailers in general tend to get a lot of likes on YouTube.

    Maybe word of mouth would have been slightly better? At the very least, there are a few scenes in the Ultimate Edition that they could’ve included in the theatrical, which would’ve only added a few extra minutes to the runtime.

    Sure, but superhero movies in general were shorter back then.

    The fact that the long runtime doesn’t seem to be hurting this movie’s legs makes me wonder if WB would’ve been better off letting BvS be three hours long.

    A 126 minute runtime for an “event” movie like this would surprise me.

    NWH finished filming around the same point last year, but that movie had an entire extra month compared to this. If Marvel intends to keep the current release date, I feel bad for those VFX artists.

    For what it’s worth, Rowling rejected Putin’s defense of her and said that she stands with Ukraine.

    Matt Reeves already claimed that he doesn’t plan on making the Joker the villain of future movies, so we’ll have to see if he means it. He said he wants to go with Mr. Freeze for the next one.

    Yeah, I don’t see why they scrapped this scene in favor of the one we got in the finished movie,

    The first trailer dropped in early 2020. To put things into perspective, the first trailer for New Mutants dropped in October 2017, and the movie was released nearly three years later.

    People are claiming this should’ve made a billion because Joker was an inexplicable breakout hit overseas. If this had been the first Batman-related movie since Justice League, no one would be calling it a disappointment.

    This movie is doing strong business domestically. It’s going to pass BvS, Aquaman and Joker, with more still in the tank. Overseas just isn’t as great as many of us were hoping.

    The simple solution would be not do five movies. This was originally conceived as a trilogy, after all.

    Seeing the trailer for this is going to be surreal.

    How would making this an hour shorter even work? This isn’t the Snyder Cut, where there are plenty of scenes that come off as unnecessary filler. Most of the scenes are there to advance the plot. There’s only really one scene near the end that I think could’ve been cut.
