I’m not worried about reviews either, but letting positive word of mouth spread as soon as possible would be a good way of ensuring that the movie opens big.
I can’t believe Marvel went from being the most beloved Hollywood franchise in China to a complete non-entity just because they don’t like Simu Liu and Chloé Zhao.
I just want to point out for the record that Tony’s decision to create Ultron was largely influenced by Wanda using her powers to mess with his mind, and Wanda was also an accomplice to Ultron.
At this point, I’m fairly confident in saying that nothing short of bad reviews and word of mouth will stop the movie from opening to over $120 million.

What I gather is that the pre-sales for Batman are pretty damn good, but because they’re not on the level of NWH, certain people are taking that as a bad sign?
Again, I’m not sure what reason there would be to assume another delay will happen at this point. This thing has been in post-production for a pretty long time at this point and we’re closer to it’s release now than we were at any other point.
Do people care about seeing the original trio again? With the possible exception of Ian Malcolm (who was already in the last movie) people remember this franchise for the dinosaurs, not for the human characters. That why the first JW did so well.
