  1. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that DS2 was pushed all the way back to 2022 specifically so it would come out after this. Keep in mind, the release date change happened back when BW was still set to come out this year.
  2. If Dr. Strange plays a semi-important role in the movie, then it wouldn’t exactly surprise me if he serves as something of a mentor figure.
  3. Kevin Feige seems to have a knack for saying misleading things. Back when it was reported that talks between Sony and Marvel broke, Feige claimed that FFH was the “conclusion” to Peter’s journey, despite ending on a cliffhanger.
  4. I guess that settles things. So, as far as I can tell, WandaVision is going to deal with the multiverse getting fractured, this movie will explore some of the ramifications of that and DS2 will be all about fixing it.
  5. At a quick glance, it seems people like The Quartering and Geeks + Gamers made videos about the movie. I’d rather not watch them, but from what I can tell, it has something to do with Robert Pattinson?
  6. You’re talking about those reactionary YouTube accounts who always make videos with stupid thumbnails about Brie Larson and Kathleen Kennedy?
  7. They can’t buy the IP from Rowling if Rowling doesn’t want to sell it. Besides, how much would she charge for it? Disney spent $4 billion buying Star Wars from George Lucas.
  8. If COVID completely blows over by 2022, then I see no reason why this should get delayed again. Of course, I’m not very optimistic about what the state of movie theaters will be by that point.
  9. Batman is more appropriate as an October release. December blockbusters tend to be more along of the lines of VFX driven event movies, or movies that are generally supposed to just be whimsical and fun.
  10. At this rate, it’s going to be at least many more months before movies start getting put out in theaters regularly. All I’m saying is that I don’t know how much more of this that movie theaters can take. Will putting movies out in theaters even be worth it by 2022? Edit: And now the 2022 release is official. Well, I guess there’s still the Snyder Cut...
  11. If this gets moved to 2022, I’m not even sure how many movie theaters will still be open by then. AMC and Regal are on pretty shaky grounds right now, to put it mildly.
  12. I‘m saying that I don’t understand why WB would prioritize a 2021 release for Fantastic Beasts 3 over The Batman.
  13. At this point, one thing seems to be for sure: if they move ahead with the 2020 Oscars, the ratings will probably tank even more than they have for the past several years. Seriously, what even is there to get excited about at this point?
  14. They should’ve just moved Dune to November, while moving FB3 to 2022. I have no idea why they would choose to prioritize a 2021 release for FB3 over this.
  15. As others have said, wouldn’t it have made more sense to move this to November, while letting The Batman keep the October slot? Jesus, what is going on in the heads of those WB executives? Why do they keep consistently making so many boneheaded decisions?
  16. Are they seriously going to move this to 2022? I don’t think I’ll be able to retain any interest by then.
  17. So far, Heard has come out of this looking a lot worse than Depp. She’s always been an extremely sketchy person, but no one paid attention to it before, because no one even cared who she was until she married Depp.
  18. In addition to the audio of Amber Heard admitting to abusing Depp, there have also been multiple other people who have come forward to accuse her of abusing them. Also, Amber Heard actually has a prior arrest for domestic violence, while Johnny Depp does not.
