Good. A bit short my expectations though.

Seems like ¥18-20mn Sunday for Cap. That would be ¥50-52mn weekend and ¥985mn total. It shall add another ¥20mn in weekdays to end Week 3 at ¥1005mn. In its final week (5 days only considering new releases on April 3rd), will add another ¥50mn. ¥1055mn full run, i.e. $158mn Approx.

I didn't know of State declaring that because, entertainment tax isn't filed by producer but exhibitors and that's on all films combined, not one film. Further, the tax compiling will be done in big cinemas in big cities, in smaller town there is abundant tax evasion. Also, Baahubali 2 grossed ₹120cr, Entertainment tax would be ₹16-20cr approx.

And growth continues with March as well. Badla will do ₹95cr nett Approx, Luka Chuppi will hit ₹90cr and Kesari somewhere around ₹180cr. Notebook may do ₹20-40cr. Last March did ₹350cr, this will be around ₹400cr+.

Still this low numbers that too after tax reduction. Ugh. If Ranveer was in Kesari, I wouldn't be surprised with 250cr full run.

BTW Akshay Kumar is still doing those mid level numbers with this big film. Such a mediocre star.

CSK is obvious favourite in Chepauk. Weirdly I have zero interest in IPL this year. Not even in KKR match.
