Especially FG is a original film with good WoM, which tend to have stronger legs and slower burnout rate for demand, just look at Knives out and AQP1. Treating sequel and original/standalone film the same is the wrong mindset.
I haven't pirated version circulated online yet or any of my marvel fans friends sharing the pirated link on social media, not sure if this is direct result of theater exclusive run or SC just being a lesser hyped movie for people to have the urge to pirate it like BW
I don't think they will, Nov is just too crowded for TG even by pre-pandemic standard. But I do suspect AQP2's number doesn't satisfy them, especially international number
The drop is a bit harsh for a labour day hold, judging just how well FG hold in the past 2 weeks, but SC is here, how big everyone else can be?

If SC alone can defeat the entire suicide squad (both are equally unknown in their context) in just one weekend, that is even a bigger statement against HBO MAX free access.
I don't get how people hate this film naturally because of chinese when both lead look like western Chinese instantly. Unlike Mulan, SC take places in USA and there is no controversial or whatsoever in relation to SC production.
I am thinking 75m opening 3 days. I find it hard to believe this to have far worse IM when sunday is a 2nd saturday (typical marvel day) and the character is relatively unknown even by marvel standard. At least BP appeared in CW and CM has that teaser at the end of IW. SC was never mentioned or appeared in anyway.
Why is Tuesday discount day still not working like pre-Covid time? I remember they were in 30-40%, sometime even 50% surge rate. Or people just lost their Tuesday moviegoing habit?
I am happy for the move, November is way too crowded. This can give every Nov release a break. Or this could be a sign that Paramount is not happy with AQP2 result?
FG mid-week number slow down considerably as compared to weekend number, should they release this in the summer to gain better mid-week number? June was a not bad choice,
