People here also said Ricky Gervais' speech wasn't funny but his speech was the only thing people remember from any golden globe ceremony.
It all depends on what the oscars want to be. Do they want a show for the actors? Or for the people watching at home? If they want less views then make it for the actors however we know hollywood, they want the views and they want people to care therefore choosing to be the butt of the jokes gets us average joe's at home alot more interested.
Well I think it could, just not much. There seemed to be alot of "lets boycott fantastic beasts" posts after his firing but then we could also argue he's not been a draw for a long time now anyway. If this flops then Aquaman follows suit then we can draw conclusions
We can find the joke funny whilst still finding what happened to be tragic. If you dont have a sense of humour then fine, but dont judge the people that do, they make the world a more interesting place
That's hilarious. A good comedian wouldn't have given a shit and just gone through with it. Baldwin isn't a good person anyway. There would have been some gasps but the viewers at home would have loved it
Chris Rock likely didn't know of her condition. Even Willow has a shaved head, to most people it just appeared as a fashion choice. That's the feeling I got anyway, especially after his 'come on that was a nice one' comment after. On the surface it was a very light hearted joke
Avatar 1 released its traiker just 3 months out and i think it worked it its advantage. Overhyping movies has a higher chance of leading to dsapppointing WOM
Lets face it, Disney probably regrets going against this bill. They never planned to go against it until they were bullied into it by a small but loud mob. They should have taken a lesson from Netflix and Spotify. They showed just how quick the mob get bored when they are met with a no and just like that they moved onto other things.
Now they've changed their mind I can see exactly where DeSantis is coming from. This is the company that ass licks China despite their major humanitarian issues because they want that Chinese box office money. Disney need to stay in their lane. They are in no position to lecture anyone
This is quite amusing considering most sources posted here come from Twitter with heavy left wing bias. Atleast there was actually news in his link rather than just opinions.
What film were you referring to? I cant work it out. Also its being released on the 12th isnt it? That would give it 3 weekends to rack up quite the total if it delivers.
I think people are burnt out with shoddy 3d conversions slapped on any blockbuster just to earn more money. I dont think people would refuse to see a sequel to the movie that got them into 3d in the first place though
