Yeah main issue with shows nowadays is that they either totally overuse romance or not at all. Everyone has to get involved at some point. Two people can't simply be friends.

Honestly aside from being bad movies, the new generation of actors and actresses really lack the charisma of the original Avengers. I mean aside from the odd few, none of them original Avengers can carry movies on their own but when they were in the MCU they could at least keep the audience interested. This is why Antman 3, despite being a horrible movie, is still the second highest grossing live action CBM this year (so far). And despite Love and Thunder being a mess, I will probably still watch another movie with Chris Hemsworth being Thor, but I haven't watched 80% of the MCU and TV series that came after Endgame.

I also see a lot people saying Cillian doesn't have an edge because he won't campaign. I don't even see how that's the narrative. I mean he went on the press tour with all his costars and even did some interviews on his own. Like in the video, he will be campaigning with his costars most of the time, he's a team player so he will be fine.

A lot of people say Oppenheimer would lose momentum but so far it's still quite strong. And I guess the cast will slowly start campaigning.

I mean if 80% of the Captain Marvel watched it because of Endgame in North America, then 99.9% watched it for that reason in China. Brie Larson/Captain Marvel has absolutely no brand recognition in China.

I watched it during COVID, years after it was popular, still really good.
