  1. Minor hiccup in an otherwise stellar performance by the folks at Disney :
  2. FROZEN is already making money for Disney. Doesn't really matter if OS hits $400M or not. Look at Disney's result for 2013:
  3. Another franchise falling short of $1B WW Potential is there though...
  4. I like this MCU initiative taken by Universal Go Universal Go! You can't rely on fast cars forever...
  5. 4K is a compromise, upscaled bullcrap! IMAX FOREVER !
  6. Japan should be another huge market In fact, Japan will be FROZEN biggest market.
  7. Wow, this is really performing badly, from bad to worse to a really really spectacularly bad cluster f*ck beyond any help. After the success of CROODS earlier this year, this must be very discouraging for Fox
  8. Rather lukewarm results compared to AUJ, but still a great number for Warner. Can the WW hit $400M at the end of this coming weekend?
  9. WTF? Not really, I like the guy for his complete commitment to entertaining his audience but a lot of his movies are not well written. I dislike CZ12. But the new POLICE STORY looks different, gritty, more realistic and from the trailer, it looks like something I can sit through.
  10. This should be huge, to be released about 1 week from Chinese New Year 2014?
  11. Last Dino-themed animation DINOSAUR made $200M+ in 2000. Maybe this will work well with the audience since FROZEN has been out for a few weeks by now. Australian date is not so great, about 2 weeks from FROZEN.
  12. I saw DOs twice and at both screenings I could hear gasping, laughter & general sense of fun throughout the movie. Something that is completely missing from AUJ. So it will be surprising if DOS eventually earns less than AUJ overseas. Domestically DOS will be clobbered by ANCHORMAN2, DINOS, AMERICAN HUSTLE & TWOWS.
  13. WWZ opened to $3.4M & ended up with $20M in Japan.
