I forgot TH3 was last year... seems like so long ago. Anyway, 43 deserved to win... I dont think Depp should have been nominated for worst actor. He was the better part of the movie, even if he shouldnt have been the prime choice to play the part.

I am for Jlaw all the way... and that is my inner fan getting the best of me. She should win, because she is flawless... period.

I found Desplat's effort to be rather dry... but then again, most of his work is. His work in DH2 is probably some of his best. If only he utilized that more dynamic aspect more often, I would enjoy his stuff more. I would not at all be hurt if Newman won. His work for Mr. Banks was really, really good. The fact that Zimmer was nominated for the globe over him was horrible. But for once the academy made the right choice!

Thats a really good number for Robocop... like... damn.

Prepping myself for tonight be listening to all the scores again. I honestly am head over heals for gravity, which given my taste in music is strange. But the score just served the film so well. I cant imagine it without it. It is beyond solid on a technical level, and triumphant at just the right points.

Yay for frozen! It's so nice to see Disney having this kind of success from this type of film! Lego movie is holding strong. Terrible for last weekends openers.

Uh, if Herc is really as bad as critics say, and it only opens to 3M today, I doubt it comes close to a 3X for the weekend... just saying. Great for LS though! it looked pretty solid. I'll probably catch it sometime this week.

well, just five more months before daily grosses actually mean something again. Congrats to CF though! I am thrilled to see it pass IM3.

Seeing Zimmer in there again for a useless score just grates on my nerves. Does the score serve its purpose for the film, sure, but it could also serve for any other drama too. I just get sick of seeing scores nominated for the sole purpose of another nom for a popular film with critics. Its like they dont even really care. Williams will get the nom, mostly deserving, although I wouldnt say it is his best work. Gravity was stunning. While minimalistic, I found it really creative, which for me, is strange given I dont normally enjoy scores like that. Mr. Banks was good, probably one of Newman's better works of late. As a whole this years offerings are rather limited. I really hope Gravity wins though, it was a great score, especially in context of the film.

Well, I finally got caught up and I surprisingly am still loving the show. I thought the premise might wear thin after a few episodes, but it has maintained my interested pretty well. I am really excited to see where they take it next season.

Good number all things considered. 300 is out unless a miracle happens. But hopefully this "good WOM" i keep hearing about will kick in and carry it to a decent total.

I think I could almost go straight for her... there is just something about her. Makes me at least want a hug! She is just so lovable!

it is hard to see what exactly will pan out from it all. I do wonder what bigger role, if any, he will play in the season. I like the actor if only for the eye candy... yum. If there is one thing to say about this show, its that they sure do employ beautiful people.
