I've heard it from my step mother a few times now when she bemoans society becoming more inclusive and less "English". She's a bigot though for sure.

Eh, I'm not sold. I know online it's been well received sure, but I don't know anybody in my circle that enjoyed it. Whether we're an anomaly, I don't know, somehow I doubt it. But it's a Batman film in a pretty empty window, it making money wasn't a surprise.

It grows as a "last chance to see in theaters" push. But Taylor hasn't appeared to do that so it's unlikely.

So I saw a trailer for this for the first time when I saw The Creator today. Didn't actually tell me anything about what this movie is, just kept pushing clips from movies and shows trying to tell you who the characters are. That's not exactly the way to sell a movie.

Comcast did a lot to fuck Disney, they drove up the price of Fox, then bought out from under them one of the most valuable parts (the sky satellite operation in Europe). Genius play on their part.
