Liked SMH but can't say I loved it. Pros: + Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Best of the bunch though hardly heads above the others, I still liked Andrew Garfield, shamed he got saddled with dumb scripts + Thank god they got Michael Keaton as that villain wasn't great (his minions even worse), but did like his different motivations; and nice little twist with him later + Nice homage to 1980s high school movies + Funny enough. Unlike GOTG2, the jokes didn't feel forced Cons - A tad too long - Spidey's Eyes are just a bit too distracting and weird. Was okay in CA: CW, but seeing it so much just didn't work - The "MJ" reveal didn't have much of an effect, felt a lot like the end of The Dark Knight Rises revealing Gordon-Levitt's name was Robin *role eyes* - The finale was a bit too bland and forgettable And that's it. I'll see it again in 4K but not in theaters. ****/*****, (B+, 7.9/10, 3.25/4)

Re-watched this yesterday and still pretty darn good. Seagal looked like he was still trying and Tommy Lee Jones made for a fantastic villain.

Be nice if Warner played hard ball and not underestimate WW's Sunday, which they have constantly done since its OW.

If it even sniffs it, Warner will hire The Accountant and make it happen.

And they seem to be the right fit for the character who is far more comedy-based versus the others.

Have to think Cars 2 really hurt it. That was an awful movie. It was the only Pixar movie I've ever truly hated.

Well, those 3 did sell out and not coincidentally, the 7pms for POTC5 and GOTG2 also sold out as well. And checking, the 10:30pm showing for WW doing well, not sure if it'll sell out but 3 hours beforehand, it's about 80% filled.

WW doing very well today here. 12:30pm sold out and 3:50pm, 6:05pm and 7:10pm will likely sell out or come close. Cars 3 - 2:35 prob will sell out and other showings doing fairly well.

Seems like at this point people should stop underestimating this movie...

I'd have to look back at my previous post here (I think I mentioned it) but IIRC last Friday probably had one or two more sell outs. Still impressive since these showings are in this theaters larger auditoriums.

Wonder Woman still doing well here. 2 sell outs, the 7:10pm probably will as well. Cars 3 @ 6:10pm is probably 95% sold, 7:05 3D ~70% sold; All Eyez on Me 7pm 70% sold in tiny auditorium; nothing all that interesting to report on the other two.

The four movies having Thursday previews are all in tiny auditoriums still have not sold out. WW is still in the larger theaters and at least the 7:10pm showing is about 80% sold.

That's fine. Continue to underestimate the film's box office.
