  1. The Mummy 2D 7:45pm - 33 10:00pm - 10 11:15pm - 0 3D 7:00pm - 21 10:25pm - 6 Total Tickets Sold: 70; WW 7:10pm - 91 It Comes At Night 7:00pm - 20 9:30pm - 10 10:35pm - 2 11:20pm - 0
  2. That's really bad for Mummy to be third (and a huge margin between it and WW).
  3. The Mummy 2D 7:45pm - 8 10:00pm - 8 11:15pm - 0 3D 7:00pm - 12 10:25pm - 6 Total Tickets Sold: 34; Wonder Woman 7:10pm - 54 It Comes At Night 7:00pm - 4 9:30pm - 4 10:35pm - 0 11:20pm - 0
  4. Agreed, esp when on OW, at least around here, 3D was not selling very well.
  5. I think they'll push forward. They've invested in it with an opening (logo and theme by Danny Elfman) and own the DarkUniverse.com domain. As has been said, the others in this line aren't going to be big budgets and plus, it's likely The Mummy will do very well overseas.
  6. But did they have discount Tuesdays in 2013?
  7. The Mummy tickets sold Thursday: 2D 7:45pm - 2 10:00pm - 5 11:15pm - 0 3D 7:00pm - 1 10:25pm - 2 So all told, 5 showings, 10 tickets sold. It Comes At Night 7:00pm - 4 9:30pm - 0 10:35pm - 0 11:20pm - 0 For comparison, the 7:10pm (yes, on Thursday) showing of Wonder Woman has 29 tickets sold.
  8. Outside of the M:I series, his movies haven't opened that great. Edge of Tomorrow was $28M, Jack Reacher 2 $22M. Now, Oblivion did do $37M... 4 years ago. Also, the bolded part could be the problem, at least stateside, for The Mummy. It doesn't seem to offer that much new.
  9. 5 showings for Mummy on Thursday. 6 tickets sold. Will be interested to check on Thursday morning as I think a few of those showings might've just been added.
  10. What % of the people who went and saw the movie knows? And if they did know, care?
  11. Some, sure, but could've waited to release this to add the No Man's Land sequence in Wonder Woman.
  12. On WW: Just checked, the 4:35pm here sold out. The 6:05pm and 7:10pm will likely sell out. With the Mummy, only two shows so far for Thurs, 5 tickets sold to the 2D, 0 for 3D, and both are in this theater's smaller screens.
  13. Yeah, got that one. Not sure if it's brilliant, was met with more confusion than intrigue. And honestly, I forgot we got that trailer...
  14. I think other than being a producer (likely in name only) on Aquaman, it's highly doubtful he'll be involved anymore. As for The Batman, I'd be surprised if Reeves didn't have nearly complete control.
  15. Snyder is done in the DCEU. The Batman is all going to be on Matt Reeves.
  16. I wonder, so to speak, if some theaters were like the one here that underestimated the demand because Saturday all showings of WW were sold out and I noticed a couple showings of GOTG2 were sold out (as well as Pirates 5) around the times WW had sold out showtimes.
  17. Not sure if I've ever been so disinterested in a movie before; a couple times I nearly fell asleep. Outside of some good production designs, really hated this movie. *¾/*****, (D+, 3.4/10, 1.25/4)
  18. 1. Wonder Woman (A-) 2. Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition (B+) 3. Man of Steel (B+) 4. Suicide Squad (B-) 5. Batman v Superman: Theatrical Cut (C+)
