  1. Poor Orlando Blooms career is so dead he has to have a movie a year and a half away pimped for him.
  2. Lol, what was up with that deer in the headlights Blanchett reaction to the Carol clip?
  3. I knew this would be an impossible show to predict, hence why I didn't even try lol. Lots of upsets are coming
  4. Lol, Winslet will have 50 golden globes before she dies.
  5. My sister thinks How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is an amazing movie and would probably have given it Best Picture, Actor, and Actress if up to her.
  6. There was just like one guy laughing at the trailer when I saw it in front of The Revenant with a pretty full crowd. Everyone else seemed annoyed/uncomfortable.
  7. As someone who didn't get the Foxcatcher hype for Carell, I could totally get behind him winning for TBS. Thought he was fantastic.
  8. McCarthy has grown on me. Always found her overrated, but loved her in Spy and even found myself laughing in The Boss trailers. Not sure what happened, but looks like I may officially be on the McCarthy hype train now.
  9. Remember when that one filmmaker of that one superhero movie wanted us to believe Maggie Gyllenhaal was beautiful and even put a line in the script to try to convince people?
  10. Wow, looks like the Dunst already has more attention than she's had in at least a decade. Well played Kirsten.
  11. If you're asking preference, J Law easy. She's not breaking any new ground with the performance, but I can't bear just the idea of sitting through the nausea of the smarmy word vomit that will no doubt by Schumer's acceptance speech.
  12. Hopefully (for many reasons) there's not a sequel to that movie or around here it will be called...DH2. Uh oh.
  13. That was the best part of Spectre, which says everything since the song wasn't all that good.
  14. So much potential this year for 100m grossers. Here it goes: Locks (19): Kung Fu Panda 3 Zootopia Batman vs Superman The Jungle Book Civil War Alice Through the Looking Glass Apocalypse TMNT 2 Finding Dory Independence Day 2 The Secret Life of Pets Star Trek Beyond Bourne 5 Suicide Squad Doctor Strange Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Moana Rogue One Sing Likely (12): Ride Along 2 Deadpool Zoolander 2 My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Angry Birds Neighbors 2 The Conjuring 2 Central Intelligence Ghostbusters The Magnificent Seven Passengers The Great Wall Possible (12): Allegiant Miracles From Heaven The Boss Now You See Me 2 The BFG Ice Age 5 Gambit Inferno The Girl on the Train Trolls Assassin's Creed Jumanji Long shots (15): 13 Hours Pride and Prejudice and Zombies London Has Fallen Barbershop: The Next Cut Rings The Hunstman: Winter's War Ratchet and Clank Warcraft The Legend of Tarzan Pete's Dragon Kubo and the Two Strings The Accountant Storks The Founder Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children For a grand total of 58. Granted we won't have that of course, but it is insane we even have that many with long shot potential, and that is before counting any little indie or Oscar breakout no one can predict. We could definitely hit 40+ this year.
  15. Score be like: dun......................................................................................... dunnnnn.............................................................................................................................. DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
  16. The Walk may not have as much special effects as the others, but what is there basically blow all the others away. Should for sure be getting nominated, but again can see it snubbed for The Revenant. Unless JW doesn't make it.
  17. Ah, wow forgot all about it and had never even heard of The Program. Silence will be near the top of my early 2016 guess again though.
  18. Eh, not too shabby for being a full year ago, though I'm trying to figure out what the hell Icon is? Kinda nailed Joy.
  19. Wow, I figured that was totally a phone in performance that the HFPA went for just because, you know, she's Maggie Smith.
  20. San Andreas should at least be on the shortlist, if not nominated. I have never seen a disaster movie with such epic and amazing destruction effects.
  21. Between Room, Brooklyn, SOC, Sicario, and TFA all strongly vying for those last few spots Inside Out's chances to sneak in are way too far gone even with 10 noms. Hell, even with 12 noms.
