  1. How do you do a Batman reboot so close to the Nolan trilogy? $2.4 Billion in WW B.O., many people have that set in their mind's for who this character is, I say just let it be for now. What's the right number of years before you do it, 3, 4, 5,6? JLA makes the most sense to bring in Batman, they gave a quick nod that Bruce Wayne does exist in this MOS world, so why not have Batman be seen in the MOS sequel and then show up full-time in JLA and spin him off after that? That makes more sense to me rather than re-telling his origin again and going forward after the 3 great films we just got about this character. GL I can agree with you about as the take in 2011 was a failure in many, many, many ways, if you change who the GL character is (No Hal Jordan) you can easily get that going with a new cast. No Routh was not used for the MOS film, but it also took 7 years to get back to the big screen (2006-2013) so going by what you are saying, we won't see a Batman or GL solo flim for 7 years
  2. GL can be done after JLA as well, it`s really the only way to go with that character, more so if they use RR again.
  3. What...the...hell...is going on....with the colours in this place?
  4. JLA after another Superman film, introduce the new Batman in it somehow.
  5. Have Batman show up in some way in the next Superman film, then you go right to the JLA film, no solo Batman film until after JLA, too close to Nolan's take on the character.
  6. I don't think it's that bad, I know what Singer was trying to do but it just didn't work for people, they wanted to see Superman fight, not stock his ex & have a child & have Lex try to take over the World's Real Estate business.
  7. I love the pics about the 'amazing back healing rope', the 'wingless plane', the 'unrelated death's for Bruce Wayne & Batman', the video about everything wrong in TDKR, they all make me laugh, in a good way.I love the movie & IMO it ends this trilogy very well, but even I have issues with it, it feels rushed in parts (Bruce in the pit rebuilding his mind and body after having his ass kicked by BANE), not enough Batman in the film (easily fixed by more of him at the start), and as much as I like the Robin taking over idea (I really do as it ties into Bruce's goal from Batman Begins) the truth is that he has zero training and unless Bruce left him excellent training videos or something he would be dead inside a week.People will love and hate the film, but that is all part of the fun.
  8. Bigelow, Affleck and Tarantino for Best Director.Hawkes, Leo and Cotillard in Acting.
  9. BEST MOVIE OF 2012! Outstanding in every area IMO, how Bigelow did not get an Oscar nod for Best Director is beyond me and just give Chastain the Oscar now, an amazing film from start to finish.
  10. Totally agree, this movie sucked! A great cast, great idea for a movie, but then somebody thought it would be good to make it a total 'cheezze fest', hated every second.
  11. An amazing return for the DC version of 007, I can't say enough about it, great Bond film and it is very hard for me to pick between Skyfall and Casino Royale as to which one is better. DC owns this role, all due respect to Sir Sean but man it's hard for me to imagine a better Bond, the best actor to play the role and his final scene with M was so real and played so well it just tore me apart.10/10 - Great song as well.
  12. 1 - He is Batman, a Ninja, he simply got on a boat or plane that was heading to the USA without anybody knowing, simple.2 - Again, he is Batman, he can get into any place, guards or not, watch Batman Beings and pay close attention to his training sucka!3 - He knew where she lived and had a feeling, in his gut, well maybe lower, as to where she would be.4 - Did the making of or how did he do the FIRE BAT really take you out of the movie? Maybe the building was already covered with gas in the form of a giant Bat, did you think of that ?5 - She was enjoying their love making waaaaayyyyyy too much to kill him, Batman is better in bed than BANE.6 - The guy who was in charge of suspending trading at the stock exchange if it was ever to be taken over died when BANE and his crew came in shooting their guns all over the place. There you go bud, questions answered, now you can enjoy and love the movie, no need to thank me
  13. I have to go with Man on Fire, such a good film, so sad in the end, I love a lot of his films but Man on Fire is his best.
  14. Good for you JD, take the big $$$, play a character you love to play, then go make movies you really want to without giving a damn about 'will it make enough money', go win that Oscar.
  15. In theaters:The Dark Knight RisesThe Expendables 2Total RecallThe Bourne LegacyTed
  16. BINGO! He doesn't have to spew false praise all over the Indy & 3 TF movies, doesn't have to lie about how much he loves them or anything, he could just simply keep his mouth shut, not say anything about them or the people who were apart of them, and maybe say thank you once in a blue moon to the people who put down their hard earned $$$ to watch them and make them successful. But instead he is talking out of his ass like he is the best actor ever and pissing all over the 4 biggest films he will ever have at the B.O., so go ahead Shia, go make your so called 'art' movies, just try not to get drunk, get in fights, drive and crash, try not to harass the other people in the film, try not to get thrown in jail, ah hell forget it, just go away.
  17. I am going to give you my answers and take on why Nolan did what he did to your questions: 1 - From the start (In Batman Begins) when Bruce was starting to put together his secret identity, he wanted "it" to be something incorruptible, everlasting, a symbol for the people of Gotham. He picked a Bat, as it was something that scared him as a child and he wanted his enemies to fear the same thing he did. Bruce knew he could be killed or injured and as a man could be destroyed, but as a symbol he will live forever and in that way he could inspire someone else to become a 'Batman' type figure. 2 - Blake was the one who would do what was right when the Police couldn't, he would not let the law be bent to help protect the criminal's, he wanted to protect Gotham, he was the 'next one'. 3 - Gotham will always need Batman and Batman will always protect Gotham, they needed a new light lol. 4 - Bruce was done, he was old, tired, his body was broken, he couldn't do this forever and he knew that Blake would take care of Gotham. Bruce knew that his goal had been met, he saved Gotham, Batman will live forever as a symbol, and IMO he felt peace knowing that he would 'die' saving the city and people who he swore to protect, it was perfect.
  18. Bale as both and it's really not even close.
  19. Baumer, if not him than Shawn, if not him than AA, if not him than Noctis, if not him than I will fight the SOB!
  20. 6 times so far, once per week, all in IMAX, I would like to see it at least 2 more times, then I am done until the Blu-ray release in December, when I will do the Nolan - Dark Knight trilogy day lol.
  21. WOW!This is much harder than I ever thought it would be, HL's Joker is IMO perfect, the voice, the laugh, how he always changed the story about his scars, his violence that makes everybody laugh (How about a magic trick?) and the perfect police station one-on-one with Batman, his take is as close as I will ever get to the 100% true comic version of that character and I do not believe that in my lifetime I will ever see a better version. But I can say the same about TH's BANE, his look, the mask, his mission, how he was all about punishment & pain, his fighting skill, size, strength, and how bang on they got the 1st head-to-head battle with Batman, it was brutal and the image of him holding Batman over his head and what he did right after that was pulled right from the comics and could not have been done any better.I hate to sit on the fence but I must, this is a tie for me as both were perfect in their own Batman films.
  22. Very sad, it is being reported that he had inoperable brain cancer, what a shame, the pain he could have been in, the fact his family and friends would have watched him suffer and in turn suffered, sad all the way around, I loved many of his films, RIP.
