  1. Great post, Iceroll.Congrats to CF. Well deserved! I hope Mockingjay will continue the trend.Btw, speaking about CF success, I haven't seen Futurist around much these days.
  2. Lol, true true. I just don't want to go for the obvious. So Ed, to keep up with your current situation, how about a pic/gif of pregnant Nolan?
  3. :lol:But I don't know what you like. Give me something to work with or I'll be forced to take up on Tele's suggestion.
  4. Sure, bud. What sig do you want? Give me a picture link or something.
  5. Yeah, so weird. The water heater at my house is in the garage.
  6. Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything will be fixed soon.
  7. Yeah, she is. And the WWII get-up suits her so well.
  8. He's a better actor now than then for sure. His common default facial expressions still haven't changed much though, lol.And agree, his comeback especially as director is an amazing one. On another note, wow, Kate Beckinsale is beautiful.
  9. Watching Pearl Harbor, Ben Affleck is really limited when it comes to facial expressions
  10. I enjoy the first TF. Don't care for 2 and 3.TF4 sounds interesting though.
  11. Pain and Gain is good. Hope Bay will do more movies like that.
  12. Yeah. It almost ends, about 10min or so left.Great movie.
  13. Thanks Rukaio. I'll check them out. Out of those you mentioned, I only know of Detective Conan. Actually, I was an avid reader and follower of that series, but haven't read new chapters of it for a while due to time constraints and mostly cause of the foot-dragging plots/story. The one big thing I'm curious about right now is what exactly happened to Shuichi Akai, is he alive, is he dead? They kept introducing new mysterious characters and antagonists and like you said, only once in a blue moon, actually do a big reveal to tie things up. At this point, I think no matter how shocking or clever the ending, and reveal of the big boss is, there will be major plot holes involved. I remembered reading a pretty good detective manga called Kindaichi Case Files. Let's see if I can find it online for a reread. Heard a lot of good things about Fullmetal Alchemist so gotta start on that as soon as possible it seems.
  14. If we talk about surprises, I was actually surprised big time by Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder. I went into the movie blind and he had that fat bald old man get-up, playing a comedic role that's very different from most of his other works. Took me a while to realize it's him, lol.
  15. Sorry for the late reply.I'm not sure, I think it related to the video game you mentioned. There are a few Dragon Quest titles, but Dai no Daiboken is the best. It's pretty long but I like the series a lot. So just asking if you heard of it. About recommendations, I think I would prefer finished series first, don't mind of the length though. I guess you know of shounen mostly, so let's stay within that category. I like detective works, treasure hunting, a bit of romance maybe. Series with multiple protagonists would be better than just one or two. Historical dramas work too. That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll add more when it comes to me if you don't mind. Thanks for your help, Rukaio. Really appreciate that

  17. Rukaio, have you ever read the manga series Dragon Quest: Dai no Daiboken?I know you're well versed in Japanese animations, which is awesome btw; but any good manga ( which you are also knowledgable of) you would suggest? Since I'm pretty free at the moment, I would like to read some new and interesting titles.
  18. Toy Story vs Castle in the SkyA Bug's Life vs ArriettyToy Story 2 vs Kiki's Delivery ServiceMonsters Inc vs Spirited AwayFinding Nemo vs Pom PokoThe Incredibles vs My Neighbour TotoroCars vs PonyoRatatouille vs Porco RossoWALL-E vs Princess MononokeUp vs Whisper of the HeartToy Story 3 vs Grave of the FirefliesCars 2 vs Tales of EarthseaBrave vs Howl's Moving CastleMonsters University vs From Up on Poppy HillWow, interesting. It's a tie for me (7:7) between the two. My opinion is that they're both great studios that produce wonderful animations (duh!) with one or two missteps along the way (it happens). So kudos to them and yay for us audience. If I absolutely have to choose one, then it's probably Pixar cause I'm from US so I grew up on those movies while I started watching Ghibli a bit later (which is kinda weird since I was really into Japanese manga since I was little). So Pixar would win out on a purely sentimental level. BTW, Cars vs. Ponyo is like the easiest choice I ever have to make on this forum. If there's someone who chose Cars over Ponyo, I think you should seriously reconsider your life choices
  19. I don't have HBO anymore But no worries, Netflix to the rescue. Maybe I should make next month a Nic Cage appreciation month or something and doing movies marathons
  20. Great work so far, B. How is this year compare to last year, or some other years? That high a number of As gotta be a record for you.
  21. Frozen, Wolf and Anchorman all got good drops. I like this week Monday. Hopefully Wolf will get to 100M and more.
  22. Yup. Even with just limited footage from first trailer back then, many scenes immediately got gif-ed. There will be many more in the future for sure.
