SilverShark
Very, Very, Very good for Narnia. It's my first 100M+ OW And it'll clear 300M with ease. It's on 212 on weekends alone. Kinda disappointing for Risk Management. I'm not quite sure where it'll end up but probably less than 100M. Wait, you just release the first Narnia movie this year? I thought we had a 2-year break at least for franchises?

4815162342
Wait, you just release the first Narnia movie this year? I thought we had a 2-year break at least for franchises? It's not a rule, just a recommendation. The only major franchise that has done under 2-year breaks has been the 39 Clues series which doesn't require that much in the way of setpieces or post. BUT, I imagine the next installment for the 39 Clues to drop a fair bit because of franchise fatigue. Horse and His Boy really has no connection to the characters of the first Narnia book. If ric has a different director I don't see a problem. Edited May 19, 2013 by 4815162342

riczhang
Narnia will be released in a sequence of Back to Back films. (2 consecutive years)Horse and His Boy and Wardbrode were shot together. Probably a 2 year break before Caspian and Dawn Treader in Y11 and Y12 Edited May 19, 2013 by riczhang

Curious can leg it to 100m with strong January holds. Curious does have some good chances at acting nods, but that's about it. I think it'll probably finish with $75-85M.
