Spidey Freak
I watched a movie in India once (was a local one back when I last went in 2009) people started whistling when a hot girl came on screen... I was like really??? / They have these special dance numbers called "item songs" featuring hot girls shaking their stuff in every Bollywood film to cater to the horndog audience! Baz's inspirations from these Bollywood item songs can be prominently seen in Moulin Rouge!, where he even features one called "Chamma Chamma" (originally from the film China Gate). Lordmandeep
Yes I know about item songs, item songs can make a movie famous like the famous Munni vs Shelia in 2010 (I liked Munni way more) Edited May 11, 2013 by Lordmandeep

riczhang
Lesson learned from GG is go big or go home. It still might not be enough though. The film's rumoured to have cost 150 million. Marketing is probably another 50 million.

True overseas should help out a bit, it had to open big like this or it would have flopped. A film like this will likely get a lot of viewers after theaters.. I will 100% watch this film even though I don't like the style of the director but I love the book. So will all of my friends as they like the book. Kvikk Lunsj
When I was studying abroad in 2011. The Netherlands were decide to stop selling weed to tourist in 2012. The law passed when I was in London. Unless the bill was already been replaced. It should still be in effect.
