Jay Beezy
I don't think AE's poor showing thus far is as much a reflection of Will's star power as it is a rejection of Jaden in this particular role. The GA has a track record of being very finicky about how kids are portrayed in TV and movies and I just don't think they're ready to embrace an adolescent action hero; and I doubt they ever will be.They embrace one if it's from preexisting source material. Impact
Problem is that there was not a lot of advertising. Also Smith seemed unlikeable in this film, not his usual likeable self.
The Dark Rock
Although a $20m ow is bad it doesn't affect Smith much. It was clear from the trailers that he have only short role in the movie.
Ruthie
Well, if Will Smith's support for Jaden's movie career doesn't work out, there's always Willow Smith's music career I don't know whether I should scream in agony or kick you in the shin. Jay Beezy
At least he isn't doing drugs like other child stars. He needs to learn humility and not have his 'oh so popular' dad rub off on him, though. Not saying he should do drugs to teach him that. It's just audiences won't embrace a wannabe star who's cocky.

Captain Craig
At least he isn't doing drugs like other child stars. It's still early yet. Lohan, Hilton and Byrnes even Bieber didn't start getting really weird and into the heavy stuff till early 20's.

Impact
Considering that most child stars with famous families tend to have depressing stories, it isn't that bad.

The Dark Rock
When the trailers of AE and Oblivion came at the same time some claimed ovlivion looks lifeless, generic and boring. Looks like its the opposite
