I just checked your list and I like it ( SLP 25 !) but you may be one of the few to have so many comedies in your top 100.

Comedies never get the respect they deserve. IN that regard, this forum is even worse than AMPAS ...

Oh and what is Mothman Prophecies, the movie with Richard Gere ?

#16 (BIG shocker)

16. The Godfather

LYR: 4

Francis Ford Coppola, 1972

Nominated for 11 Oscars, won 3

91 points

Godfather's fall is actually good. Brings it roughly in line with where I think it should be.

#13 (bleh)

13. Back to the Future

LYR: 19

Robert Zemeckis, 1985

Nominated for 4 Oscars, won 1

97 points

Those of us who want to blame ric for Godfather's fall can't blame him alone. If he had ranked Godfather separately it would have been at that rank, which would have given it 6 points so it would only have risen a few spots. So other people also are to blame for it falling out of the Top 5.

Mothman destroyed me when I saw it.  It knocked me on my rear.  It's a powerful film and if you haven't seen it, do so.

I prefer Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke (both of which I ranked) and Porco Rosso (which I didn't.)

To each his own. I love Spirited Away. Didn't dig Princess Mononoke much though. I will watch again another time. But I can relate incredibly well to Satsuke of My Neighbor Totoro, especially since my mother was also hospitalized for a long time when I was about Satsuke's age.

I was really upset that Breakfast Club didn't make it. It almost did, and it was in there until the very end. It may not be one of the 100 objectively "best-made" films out there, but it's a personal favorite and I hope it sneaks in next year.

Yeah the list definitely needed a couple more comedies besides Monty Python and the Holy Grail  :D

The Muppet Movie (I was sad it didn't rank anywhere in the top 100  :( )

Anchorman

Airplane!

Blazing Saddles

Young Frankenstein

Those should have been in but I'm happy with the list other than that, Sims!  :)
