The film whose run Gravity's most closely resemble is The Departed. The Departed's Sun-Tue drop was 66.2% (with average Sun-Mon and Mon-Tue drops). Monday 6.2 Tuesday 4.5 Wednesday 3.2 Thursday 3.0 Friday-Sun 8.5 11.8 8.3 $28.6m 3rd weekend. OR Mon 6.2 Tue 4.5 Wed 3.6 Thur 3.2 Fri-Sun 9.0 12.6 8.9 $30.5m 3rd weekend. I think from this Wed: 3.5 Wed 3.6 Thu 9.5 Fri 13.1 Sat 8.0 Sun 2.4 Mon 2.6 Tue 2.4 Wed 2.4 Thu 3rd weekend is about 30.6M, though it can do better.
