Walt Disney

BoxOffice.com's Best Movie for Each Year from 1930-2012

I think my list had about 22 in common with the eventual winners.

Couple of real surprises there, though. Wasn't expecting To Kill a Mockingbird to lose to Lawrence of Arabia, no matter how deserved it was. (Although, I've never seen LoA). And, as I mentioned in the thread, I was surprised Amadeus and Schindler's List beat Nightmare on Elm Street and Jurassic Park respectively. I thought the latter two had a lock on their positions.

Most disappointed that Titanic beat Princess Mononoke though. And Men in Black. And Batman and Robin. For shame.
