BadAtGender
I'm waiting for the next word. It's really weird how they've just taken to using Trek as a verb instead of a noun.

kitik
Secrecy. yay Who is the villain ? speaking of secret reveals and villains and Khan, remember when people thought there was a possibility that Robert Redford/Alexander Pierce would take off his mask and reveal he was the Red Skull? On a more related note: Not all Star Trek movies have had a specific villain like Nero or Khan.

Jonwo
Is a third one really necessary after how dissapointing the second one did DOM? It did over $200m and it's the 50th anniversary next year, Paramount couldn't miss such an opportunity and it's going to wall to wall Star Trek in the media up until the release of the film

Phil in the Blank
Is a third one really necessary after how dissapointing the second one did DOM? The 2nd movie made more money worldwide then number 1. Besides 225~ Million may have been disappointing based on expectations but its hardly a bomb. Why would Paramount give up on a lucrative franchise?

(shrugs) Because it could fall less than 200 this time? It just seems like it haven't really gotten the approval of the GA behind it, only the fans. John Marston
this movie has a chance at out grossing the last one. It has a July release without much competition and it has the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek to use in its marketing.
