Studios believe the tracking as they use the tracking info to make changes to their advertising strategies. If the tracking was saying 175-185 then that's probably what the suits at Lionsgate were hoping for as well.

My GM said Catching Fire was projected to do 475m. I guess he was looking at whatever MTC was.

Some one teach me about theater averages. Whats good, whats bad, whats phenominal? Like how do you figure the ratio from the gross and # of theaters and how do you know if its good? I've followed BO forever but that and OS numbers are two things I still dont understand. Someone help. (Guessing It'll be ole chap Tele to respond).
