Those are actors playing younger versions of the characters that still grow up into the characters everyone knows so recasting is necessary. That happens all the time. Seeing as how the new Indy is at least 4 years away and Harrison is in his 70s, I think it makes sense to transition the character to another actor. I just hope any reboot doesn't "update" the franchise to present-day. Even the late Cold War (70s/80s) is too recent. Take us back to the 1930s.
