Disney now has full rights to Indiana Jones

Recommended Posts

James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Leonard McCoy say "hello".

Those are actors playing younger versions of the characters that still grow up into the characters everyone knows so recasting is necessary. That happens all the time.  Hell Nimoy Spock still appears in those movies

It's worse than that, that's younger versions in a parrallel universe so old Trek universe still exist somehow running aside the reboot universe, that's where old Spock comes from.

Lol Baum Im not.. As long as Harrison can bring it... Indiana Jones is Harrison Ford.

The new guy can wait a while.. Harrison  still kicks much as the character he was born to play.

 "Snakes!" WHy did it have to be snakes!"

Seeing as how the new Indy is at least 4 years away and Harrison is in his 70s, I think it makes sense to transition the character to another actor.   I just hope any reboot doesn't "update" the franchise to present-day.  Even the late Cold War (70s/80s) is too recent.  Take us back to the 1930s.
