BTW Marky Mark was 16 when he beat someone to near death. Bale is an asshole now.

Yeah and he has yet to make amends to his victims. That kind of makes him a bit of a jerk. But I'm not here to derail. Lets just leave it as it is Edited by MrPink

Uhm, BP winner right now, I don't know. I don't think It's the year of O Russell, so no Hustle. Uhm. Probably 12 Years a Slave because it'll be seen as the politically right thing to do.

Director. It'll be the year of the auteur so Cuaron or McQueen. It'll be Cuaron in the end and we have yet another split.

Actress. Blanshitto, duh. I saw Blue Jasmine yesterday for a 2nd time and I actually like Cate much, much, much more. She's borderline top 5 now.

Actor. Who gives a fuck? Uhm. MM.

Supporting Actor: Leto.

Supporting Actress. I dunno. Hopefully now JLaw (I still need to figure out a better nickname, lol). Probably Nupita. (Imagine if Julia won, lol)

No Leo love?

Another analogy:

AH is like the chick you pick up from a bar one night when you are so drunk, you can hardly say your own name.  She's slim, looks hot, big breasts and the thought of her doing things to you makes you go home with her.  Then you wake up in the morning and she's got yellow teeth, fake breasts and without makeup she looks like a plastic surgeon used her for practice.

Or AH to 12YAS is like The GG to the Oscars or Kim Kardashian to Kate Middleton.

No you want it to win because JLaw is in it.

I haven't seen any of the oscar films this year so I could care less.

She won last year so I don't really care who wins and who doesn't this year.

Amy Adams over Blanchitto would be a dream and I hope Cuaron gets his due.

The rest will be all good fun.

I don't care enough to argue about it, I like JLaw.

I've seen both movies ZD30 and SLP.  And liked both of them.

This guy believed that Jennifer will win based on this video before Oscars and he did an in depth analysis on why.  Including Chastain's performance and Jennifer's as well as other actresses.

You can agree or disagree with that assessment.

I just want AH to win best picture just to piss off the high brow elite cinephiles around here whose condescendence is a bit tiring I must say.

How does that describe any of us who just don't think the film is worth all the praise?  I'm the guy who thinks Homefront is one of the 10 best films of the year.  I am certainly not a high brow film elitist.

Seriously Meryl got some downright pans for Sausage County and still gets nominated. Someone please just stop here.

Psh. Who ever said universal support was necessary? You only need something like <20% to get a nom and of course Meryl got in. I mean she's Fucking Goddess Meryl. Of course she was in. She's always been in.

I don't think Bale's an asshole at all.

lol at people pretending they know someone because they heard a recording of that someone having a hissy fit on a film set.

Kubrick & Cameron made their actors cry ... are they the devil ?

I can't really call myself a fan of Meryl's performance in August but y'know I think some of the negative reviews really exaggerate. She's been nominated for worse...

Heck, scratch that, I think she's WON for worse performances. *cough*IronLady*cough*
