That's really strange that Lego dropped so much. And being the day brier school for most, I can't see Monday having saved it. But damn.. The Other Woman.. Female comedies are really the leaders now..

Given Friday is a public holiday around the country could LM have an almost flat weekend ? so possibly as high as 27m by the end of the weekend... It will all come down to whether LM can make 3 to 4m after the this weekend coming.  Possible.

 

I think TASM 2 is heading for a total between 16m and 19m unless it grows legs.

Unless CA2 gets a boost this weekend coming I think it's ending around 19m also.

Thought this an interesting read for last years box office + a pretty up to date list of films in order of # of tickets sold.  While not all the figures are shown it appears to be pretty up to date for smh surprisingly.  Also I noted we have 1997 screens in 478 theatres which puts all those screens counts into context now.  Some good data in here.. if I get time, later this week, i'll tidy up and create this as a proper list.

Could you imagine, if in NA, The Other Woman opened the same week as ASM2, and it finished within 20 mill of ASM's 4 day and it only had a 3 day.  LOL, that would be quite funny.

That's a decrease for ASM2 though isn't it? The first opened to U.S. $7,469,619 (July 4-8)

 

It could have better legs though.  The 2nd Cap only opened about 20% more than the first and the first ended with only $11,108,979  and the 2nd is at $15.8m U.S. and could finish about $18m+

 

Sam: If it's legs after the Spidey assault get better again it has a chance.
