There are a fair number of Indians in Australia. India-Australia matches always seem to sell out there. Personally, I have a few cousins and colleagues living in Australia.

People of Indian ancestry make up about 2% of the population plus around 50,000 people from the sub continent are studying here at any one time. Also, the bulk of Australia's population is concentrated in 5 cities so a Bollywood film doesn't have to be in too many theatres to get good coverage. Finally, there's the SBS effect. There are many Australians used to watching subtitled films.

I wish they showed Bollywood films here like in Soviet times the only one semi Bollywood style film I remmber seeing in theaters was  Bride & Prejudice
