AOU vs FF7 is going to be far more interesting then expected.  With no public holidays and without the Wednesday public holiday opening of The Avengers it might struggle to get to $50m.

I think too much is expected out of Avengers. I doubt its going to grow in developed markets. 1st one was uber blockbuster and these markets dont grow much unless there are other catalysts and Avengers dont have anything. I wont be surprised to see it drop in local currency in few markets(Japan for sure).

The Water Diviner is on Channel 7 on Monday.

http://www.tvtonight.com.au/2015/04/water-diviner-world-tv-premiere-on-seven.html

Previews for Avengers will be over $1m I feel. We already have 4 sessions and have sold more tickets than all the hunger games and Ironman midnight sessions.

George Street looks to be at least $25,000+ in ticket sales for the Wednesday night.  That would suggest at least over $500,000 for previews.

Anyone think that potters OW record could go down? I think OD record is mostly safe here but I think TA AOU could surprise and break it.

Assume each level is above the previous.

Under 10m - probably flop territory.

Under 14m - dissappointment.

Under 16m - expected / good

Under potter - excellent result

Over potter. Time for jaw drops.

My non fan boy predict is 15.5m + 0.7m Wednesday.

The fanboy in me nudges it up to 1.1m wed. 18.5m OW ;)

Rth, did they increase the volume at Miranda or rearrange the layout?

New complex has 2 extra screens (Gold Class), 2 big Vmax 446seats each (Both Atmos and GC has Atmos as well) biggest before was 368 seats, overall the new complex has 307 more seats then old

Is it in a new location? Campbelltown moved when they opened the new one.
