So I went in to meet him, then that was the thing that happened really quickly, because I went into have this meeting with him and the first thing that I said was ‘My only hesitation is… I love this script but I just did Interstellar and I played a dude who was stranded on a planet, and it might be weird if I take a year-and-a-half off and play a dude who is stranded on a planet.’ I explained the movie to him, and he was like ‘The movies are totally f**king different. This is going to be f**king fun. Let’s do this.’ That infectious thing and I couldn’t really say no to him.

Gravity is one of the best space movies ever. Nothing can beat this scene, it's amazing, even in this shit quality. Especially from 3:20:

Watched Gravity 11 (ELEVEN!!) times in the cinema - each time goosebumps throughout!! This is what real cinema is about!

Interstellar is hilarious. While the film always maintain a serious tone the several characters (Cooper and TARS mainly) have a great sense of humor. I laughed my ass off during Interstellar

All I know is Interstellar didn't set a very high bar and I have no idea why such a mediocre movie gets used as the standard.

If anything, make the Gravity comparison.

Interstellar is way better than Gravity tho
