So if IW's beaten TFA on Fri/Sat/Sun, that'd be a figure of at least 2.882M. Add on the 865k from Thursday that'd be a 4-day OW of, at the bare minimum, 3.75M and a 5-day of just under 5M. I'd wager that it'll be a bit higher than that, but the real question is whether or not it can hit 4M.

Such a great take although it'll be interesting to see what this does in the coming weekend since this one was so insanely busy (with ANZAC and school holidays to boot). WOM should be good from my experiences seeing it imo.

5.12M total, second biggest OW of all-time.

What is this long and hard-to-pronounce movie starring Lily James that I never heard of?

She writes letters and sends them to people in Germany or something. Going straight to streaming in America! No TGLAPPP in theatres for you. Pretty sad because I cannot emphasise enough how much I would have loved to put that acronym in a thread title.

Weaker than the power of Wilderpeople though. Year is still running behind the 2016 total.

The "Summer" slate this year seems a lot stronger than 2016/17 so I think there's a chance that 2016's yearly total record falling.

Wonder if it can get past The Avengers? It's been doing so well here and judging from my co-workers the WOM is definitely great.

I'd be surprised if it didn't. Need to see how it holds this weekend but it should end around 10m.

7.62M. Already passed everything but the first Avengers. BP took a bit of a tumble this weekend as well and only made 3k. Final total will be around 7.25M, give or take a couple of thousand.

Apparently Event Cinemas has decided to introduce a "no free tickets" list for new release films.  Currently you can't use Cinebuzz Rewards points to see A:IW, Deadpool 2 or Solo.

It seems to have been introduced in the last week or so.

Is it also in New Zealand?

Doesnt seem like it. Can still book Solo using points.

You're right.  Hover over the session listings here and there's no "NFT".

Hover over the listings here and there's an "NFT".  That's the only way you can tell.  There's no indication anywhere else of a change.  You click through to a session and there's no option to redeem Cinebuzz points.
