Should be fine for any teen, unless they are sensitive to violence. My little brother held his ears during loud parts of comic book films until he was in his early teens. Now he's a drummer in a rock band. Go figure.

Click was pretty good and surprisingly sad as well, the scene where he runs out of the hospital crying for his family is probably the best sandler acting of the last decade

The original short is perfect.

 

If they can recapture the magic for the film it could be a 150+ m grosser for Sandler.

 

They'll probably add in fart jokes and modern day pop cultural references just to be "kewl".
