Neighbors deserves it and the concept is much more appealing to general audiences.This is the end was only seen as funny to a much smaller crowd. It easily was overtake by The Heat and we are the millers that year by audiences.However will22 jump street be bigger?

 

Not to mention the stronger appeal to female audiences between a shirtless Efron and a comedically bonkers Gawdesk. They obviously preferred the latter to uptight Barrymore in Blended.

I think the takeaway lesson with Godzilla is that yes, you can mislead people with advertising to get a big OW, but once WOM spreads of what you done, audiences won't be so forgiving the next week.
