Tele and Dar run, and Numbers cradles Ice.Iceroll: I have...I...I...I have...a...Numbers: What is it, Ice!?Iceroll:...a...brain freeze...Iceroll dies. Numbers does a Vader-esque "noooo!" Numbers drops Iceroll and runs after Damien Roc.

Audrey and John are sitting at the kitchen table.

Audrey: We have to figure out something...

John: We can't do it, babe.

A calendar with a date marked is shown.

Audrey: There has to be other options. 

Huge gas tanks are shown on fire.

John: Audrey, we can't afford it. There's no such thing as a birthday party, anymore...

Audrey: Every child should be able to have a birthday party.

There little daughter is shown sleep in her bed. Back to them.

Audrey: How about we just not buy balloons?
John: You can't have a birthday party without balloons, dear.

A party hat is shown and cake is shown. John opens his daughter's bedroom door and sees her sleeping.

John is watching a home video of him and his daughter playing in the yard. He begins to tear.

Audrey: (V.O) We can't disappoint our daughter.

John wraps a present.

John: (V.O) She's about to be 8. It's time she learns that there will disappointing things in her life.

Back to the kitchen.

Audrey:...Like her father? John stands in shock.

A man named Richard is lecturing to a group in a lecture hall.

Richard: The worlds supply of helium is now well under 1%. A global crisis has began. John walks into a room. No more helium for party balloons, means...no more birthday parties. John files through papers. 

Just John and Richard sitting in a room.

John: I volunteer.

Richard: We are looking for experienced people here. You know nothing about space. John is standing with Audrey and Caroline.

John: I'm a chemist. 

Richard: The world doesn't need chemists. The world needs helium. 

 

John embraces Audrey. He holds Caroline in his arms. 

John: I promised my daughter a birthday party. John and crew are checking ship controls. (V.O) I'm not breaking my promise.

CRACKLE, a rocket liftss off the launch pad.

 

Black screen: "Mankind has made many things"

 

Caroline and her mom watch the rocket take off.

Caroline: (running) Daddy! 

Audrey is hugging Caroline.

Audrey: Your dad is about to save the world, honey.

Caroline: Like Superman?

Audrey: (choking) Like Superman.

 

Black screen: "But elements are not man made"
 

They are sitting in the ship in their suits, flying away from Earth.

Heather: We know of a world, that's filled with helium.

The Sun in space is shown.

John: (V.O) The Sun?

Roger: The Sun is too hot. They pass Jupiter. (V.O) We know of a planet...

John is looking out the window to a distant Earth.

John: (V.O) I will be back before her birthday. 

The ship goes into hyper-speed and vanishes beyond Neptune. Cut to black.

John: (V.O) I will give her that helium-filled balloon.

I try to like but dat quota WHAT DOES IT MEANNN

My next project. Thought of it while shopping in Publix. May do it here, may do it in CAYOM, may just write a full 110 page script, may do all or some, idk. Still focused on the Games for now. Just a little teaser "trailer".
