I actually hate all the Apes movies I've seen except Rise, which I almost didn't see because I hated the Apes movies before that. The original series is so corny I can't take it serious whatsoever.

Oh, they can be corny, no doubt about it. They can also be fucked up and straight up hardcore like nothing you've seen in a mainstream movie.

Lmao I can't take Slant seriously. But they already reviewed it and gave it a Fresh rating. However they brought down its Metacritic score because they only gave it 75/100. 

 

Oh really? Didn't see it on RT. I thought for sure it was going to be them!

I bought This Is The End on Blu-Ray today. I forgot how fucking hilarious this movie is.

My brother has a great story about that. He was at a showing where a woman dragged her 7-year-old kid out when we see the devil's erect penis. That means she had no problem with her kid seeing the scene where they talk about raping Emma Watson, or the "cumming" scene. Nope, she had no problem with those, but she drew the line at Satan's dick. When my brother and I saw it, he had already told me about the incident, but not at what scene the mom dragged the kid out. When we got to that point and he said "THIS is where she dragged her kid out," I almost lost it, having seen all the awful stuff that had ALREADY happened in the movie. I swear, we're still going to be telling that story when we're 50...

Yeah, Franco steals that movie.Franco-related admission time: His performance as Harry Osborn in the Raimi Spider-Man films convinced me that HE should have played Anakin in the Star Wars prequels...

Off topic, but I just watched 2 Fast 2 Furious on DVD and I have to say that DVD has some of the most creative features I've ever witnessed not to mention one of if not the coolest car scene with the scramble in the movie. Pick your driver and then have the credits and pre-movie show scenes and colours of only that car? That is way too cool and there are many more examples.Say what you want about the movie, but the DVD features are pretty damn creative and good.
