zackzack
Too violent, freaky, bad-ass, unadulterated action-fantasy genre piece. Will not go beyond PR or even EoT WW gross... Which is too bad. This thing looks better than the GA-friendly FF series. With all the reports of delays, this however could suck big time but then again troubled-production like WWZ came out alright. el sid
Well, I think it will do well in France, Germany and most other european countries (I don't know if the series is also popular in GB or Spain, Italy but probably yes?). Then it should do very well in Russia, China and other asian markets. So I say 300M. PS: According to insidekino.de Mad Max: Fury Road will be the #1 of May in Germany with 1.6M admissions. I say there is much interest over all and the trailers were well liked but it will still depend on WOM and critics how successful this film will finally be. All three previous films are on TV this weekend, so no fan can miss the trailer.
CJohn
I am expecting epic bombage from Europe (like Pacific Rim) and no China saving it.

Dementeleus
It'll be hurt by the poor exchange rates, generally, but it's an extremely visual movie that should play well regardless of whether it's dubbed or subtitled. My guess is around 275-300m OS.
el sid
It isn't even getting a China release. Just VOD in China. That's too bad. From time to time I think 'my' movies are cursed. Why on earth is almost every 100M+ Hollywood movie getting a release and this one (especially with such a trailer) not??? Do you think it would have gotten a theater release with Mel Gibson in it? But I'm also still optimistic about the rest. At least in several markets it should do well. 225-250M.
Avatree
It isn't even getting a China release. Just VOD in China. That's just bizarre, given that it's a big-budget action spectacle... I was thinking 260M but maybe a bit less now that I know it isn't being released in China.

Firedeep said something along those lines in the China thread.

Hernan Gonzalez
I am expecting epic bombage from Europe (like Pacific Rim) and no China saving it. Totally agree! Last weekend the original movie was re-release here in Spain in 41 screens and it only did €4800 and the sequel even less: €3600
ngdinhluat
300 OS, if it is actually special (I love Max mad series, so I hope Fury Road will be successful)
