Of course there was. All fandoms do that. But really, the most annoying offender was Baumer. Pretty much every two pages of the thread consisted of Baumer saying "lol i cant believe a movie with a stupid raccoon and a talking tree is making so much money. GO TURTLES". Sure, it was fun at the time. Doesn't mean you have to root or defend a big-budget version in your 20's. I watched Small Wonder as a little kid. If they made a movie out of it, I sure as shit wouldn't rush to its defense. Small Wonder!!! If they made a Small Wonder movie, that would be awesome. I would see it.
