babz06
Talking about the week after next-not next weekend, Paranormal 6 and Witch Hunter will both have big drops. Our Brand is Crisis? There's really no reason why it shouldn't open to atleast low to mid teens. Although it surprisingly has very low buzz for a Sandra Bullock film so that could spell trouble. lilmac
Talking about the week after next-not next weekend, Paranormal 6 and Witch Hunter will both have big drops. Yea I know, although I mistakenly thought they were opening on that weekend. Somebody on another chat site suggested the same thing about Halloween weekend. Could happen!

zackzack
What will win the weekend after next? Could The Martian or Goosebumps return to number one? Nah. Neither. Witch Hunter or Paranormal methinks. Talking about the week after next-not next weekend, Paranormal 6 and Witch Hunter will both have big drops. In 2 weeks time The Martian weekend gross will be less than $10M. Edited October 19, 2015 by zackzack
WrathOfHan
In 2 weeks time The Martian weekend gross will be less than $10M.If it has a solid drop next weekend I can see it hanging on to 10M in two weeks.
lilmac
If it has a solid drop next weekend I can see it hanging on to 10M in two weeks. It would have to average a 30% drop over the next two weeks to achieve $10 million that weekend. Drops so far: 31.9% 41.9%
dudalb
Jobs will do well;I suspect in the mid to high twenties. The other releases will bomb badly.Last Witch Hunter looks a like totat disaster.

Outrageous!
Some of these guesses for Jem sound too optimistic to me, so I will go to the other extreme for it, along with the new openers. For everything other than Steve Jobs, it could be a historically awful weekend. Steve Jobs: $27 million Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension: $9.5 million The Last Witch Hunter: $8 million Jem and the Holograms: $2.2 million Rock the Kasbah: $1.7 million

WrathOfHan
Those are not his predictions but the number of screens. I know, still a low number of showtimes compared to what other new releases at his theaters are getting.
Impact
Surprise its tracking that well. (It apparently though does not get as controversial about his life as it could have) Put this a few days ago about Steve Jobs-is it really tracking that high? BOM has it at a 12M OW predict which makes more sense IMO.
