narniadis
Awesome increases. The Sunday drops look ok from a yearly point of view but it would be nice if things didn't fall so hard this time. Good holds for both holdovers.

redfirebird2008
Thats an exceptional hold for IS imo. It's pretty good. Didn't ComingSoon.net predict its weekend to be in the low 20's?

warriors1965
Gravity worked eloquently on two levels for both smarty pant crowds and Neanderthals craving a hot woman, flipping through space. #ED
Looks like Interstellar just hit 40M+ for the 5 day in China. Excellent start. Appearantly it's rare, but Sunday increased/stayed flat from Saturday in China. Possibly leggy run.
forg
Comedies did well this year domestically we have the big hits 22 Jump Street (191M), Neighbors (150M) and Ride Along (134M), solid performers Tammy (84M), The Other Woman (83M) and Let's Be Cops (82M) and middle level hits Think Like a Man Too (65M) and Alexander (61M), Dumb and Dumber 2 will probably be a 100M hit as well. Let's see if Horrible Bosses 2 can shine as well
forg
The Maze Runner will join the 100M club this weekend right? Equalizer maybe in a week or two. Then we have 5 assured 100M+ performers BH6, IS, Mockingjay, Penguins and The Hobbit 3 so at least 30 100M+ movies for 2014 Edited November 16, 2014 by forg

redfirebird2008
Universal estimating a 30% drop on Sunday. Seems very generous.
Mojoguy
DUMB AND DUMBER TO had a stupid-big weekend, debuting with $38M. So they didn't go for the lame 40m overestimate?
redfirebird2008
So they didn't go for the lame 40m overestimate? They should have. I think they're already underestimating the amount it will drop on Sunday. Might as well go for the big $40m milestone in your Sunday report.
