Oh, yeah, it makes sense. Still, I find it surprising they aren't going with a September premiere date to extend it into a 20 episodes season.

They can still have a 22-episode season. It'll...just be with less breaks.

"Pilot" – After 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be, on the series premiere of SUPERGIRL, Monday, Oct. 26 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. The series moves to its regular time period (8:00-9:00 PM) on Monday, Nov. 2.

SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El, Superman's (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents' help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex, and learned to conceal the phenomenal powers she shares with her famous cousin in order to keep her identity a secret. Years later, at 24, Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul and fierce taskmaster Cat Grant. She works alongside her friend and IT technician Winn Schott and famous photographer James Olsen, who Grant just hired away from the Daily Planet to serve as her new art director. However, Kara's days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw, head of a super-secret agency where her sister also works, enlists her to help them protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats. Though Kara will need to find a way to manage her newfound empowerment with her very human relationships, her heart soars as she takes to the skies as Supergirl to fight crime.

I read where they're going to do a SUPERGIRL crossover with ARROW or FLASH on the CW, which is where this show really should've gone since Day 1 with all the other DC programming...

I really don't like any of those shows, if it was something like AMC or HBO or Netflix; something that actually makes good shows I would be interested.

This show is still trying to find its footing but it's the first season. Really enjoying it for the most part. Melissa Benoist is perfect as Kara/Supergirl. Also, Calista Flockhart is killing it with the little she's been given.

I only want this to be cancelled only if it were to be picked up by the CW. I need Benoist's Supergirl interacting with Grant Gustin's Flash on a frequent basis. Also, a potential musical episode because why the hell not (Gustin and Benoist come from Glee, while we also have Broadway vets Jesse L. Martin, Laura Benanti, and Jeremy Jordan in this universe).

So you want a DC Show to be cancelled if it ends up on the CW along with the other DC Programming, right???

Of course. It's a crime that the current situation prevents Benoist's Kara and Gustin's Barry from interacting to begin with.
