Same here. I am not sure why she was such a lock to win this year that actually took home every award so far.

One website says it starts in 1 hour 20 mins. How long is it after that, that the awards will begin to be handed out? Idk if there's a long "pre-show" kinda thing, I've never watched the Oscars before.

Also, does anyone have a link to a stream so I can watch it?

If your reasoning is purely because of the snub, surely Glory would be the winner? There was a lot more backlash against Oyelowo's snub than Lego Movie's, plus it's an actual legitimate problem that the voters might feel bad about (no one likes being portrayed as racist).

I'm willing to bet Lego movie was snubbed harder than Oyelowo's performance

I thought Meryl was good but it's not a winner, Dern was good but she's in the movie for 20 seconds, Stone was bad and Knightley was wallpaper. I can see why she's so out in front.

I liked Meryl Streep in Into the Woods. Jessica Chastain didn't even got nominated... Keira Knightley was fine, but Arquette was way better... Haven't seen Wild.

But that has nothing to do with the academy's decision not to vote any non white actors does it? Besides, there is diversity in films, and women do have good roles in films too lol.

Way too many male centered movies overall, it has a lot to do w/ the Academy & many of the other awards esp Picture & Director

Internet backlash doesn't have quite the same effect on Academy voters. The discussion of race in Hollywood recently has made it to newspapers, TV etc., I'm pretty sure it will have a bigger influence.
