BadAtGender
Need to see the other numbers for context, but it hasn't been holding well this week. Lone Survivor's Superbowl weekend was about 8x the preceeding Wednesday. If AS follows that path, it'll earn 30-31m. Yesterday the comparable was about 34m. The Monday comparable was around 32m. So right now it doesn't seem likely the third weekend is going to be much better than the low-to-mid 30s.

ecstasy
Just don't know at this point. This is a box office first for this type of run. At least in my opinion it is. There is a snowstorm in play but it doesn't seem to affect the other movies. Interesting to see how this one plays out.
Aplandg
No. Well let's ask Rocket Raccoon and Tony Stark about the sharp sting of Katniss' arrow after she's been doubted. Bradley Cooper next?

Jandrew
Like Mango said, this weekend was always going to be a stinker. Next weekend, Sniper's 4th will be the true teller of where this is headed.
JohnnyGossamer
I think it will hold pretty steady in the weeks leading up to the Oscars given it has 6 or 7 noms. Thinking #1 for 2014, even though it didn't open wide until 2015, is pretty much a done deal.
ecstasy
I don't understand how this weekend being a stinker (for what reason? the snowstorm?) would affect AS box office. Sorry if I'm slow, but can you elaborate? Never mind. Totally blanked out on the SB weekend. Edited January 29, 2015 by ECSTASY

Ando918
No, AS still looking at 350M+. I don't think so. I would go with more in the 325 range. The Monday through Wednesday numbers are bringing it back to reality.
