Gabriel Sales
Inside Out The Good Dinsosaur and/or Shaun The Sheep Minions Peanuts Anomalisa Yes - I know, I know. Contrary to all logic, I think Minions has a shot due to the fact that the animation branch adore European films (which Minions is - being made in Paris). Weak reviews will make it an outside shot but I think it very well might. I think its chances are worse than the other 4 but better than the Little Prince. What is the reason that leads him to believe that Minions is more likely that The Little Prince? Have you ever watched The Little Prince? The film premiered August 20 in Brazil and I can assure you that is one of the best animations I've ever seen. It's the kind of film that really gives us life lessons, just exciting. Without mentioning that the film has parts made stop-motion, which the Academy loves. I think that The Little Prince is not one of those listed will be a great injustice. But in my opinion other films might have a better chance at a nomination.

I respect your opinion, just weird that you say that there are other, better movies The Little Prince in the dispute an alert, since you elected on your list Peanuts and Good Dinosaur, movies that have not even been shown yet. I watched the trailer for Peanuts, honestly? Did not attract me at all, I did not find funny may even surprise, but for now ... Since the trailer for Good Dinosaur really liked it. CoolioD1
paramount just bought the charlie kaufman movie and are releasing it limited in december. think it's a lock for a nomination, probs not mainstream enough for a win. can't wait to finally see a new film from this motherfucker though.
AniNate
Yeah, now I'd say Anomalisa is a pretty good bet. Good to see the field filling up this year. Aside from Pixar it was looking pretty unimpressive at the start.
TStechnij
Glad it got picked up by Paramount! I saw it last night and really adored it. However, I think a lot of reviews are quite hyperbolic. It isn't as relatable I am used to with Kaufman.
CoolioD1
so if I had to guess Anomalisa The Good Dinosaur Inside Out Peanuts? Shaun the Sheep
AniNate
I'm surprised it was picked up by a major studio. Seemed like an IFC or Roadside kind of movie, or Sony Classics at the very most.
TStechnij
I think A24 was showing interest, but it was so damn expensive. Sold for $5 million.
Ezen Baklattan
Paramount getting it is a very good sign, especially considering how Paramount doesn't even have much else to push for Awards season this year.

MinaTakla
All of a sudden this year is looking VERY strong Yup one of the strongest years for animation Oscars possibly ever since 2010.
DAJK
Inside Out still has a great chance at winning I'd say; not just because of how incredible it is, but of how much of an impact it had. It's still going to be in people's minds by the time 2016 comes around. Then again, I would have said the same for the LEGO Movie last year... TStechnij
I don't think people are predicting Anomalisa for a win. Just a nod. Inside Out should run away with this unless the Annies and LAFCA, NY Critics and The NBR start giving Anomalisa top prizes or runner ups. Ezen Baklattan
I could see a scenario where the Pixar movies split votes and Anomalisa wins.
AniNate
I think Anomalisa might actually be the front runner now. Late release, not aimed at kids, a major studio supporting it
TStechnij
I could see a scenario where the Pixar movies split votes and Anomalisa wins. A possibility actually. Hm. I guess we'll have to see how things play out with The Good Dinosaur.
CoolioD1
i doubt it cos I realllly doubt good dinosaur will be as good as inside out but we'll see.
