Now lads and lasses, I do not want to alarm anyone but I am going to try and do something unprecidented for this season...

 

I am going to announce that I will look at some of the scoring now and then follow it up with some actual scores afterwards!!!

 

Can it actually be done? We shall see :P

(btw I am going to not touch anything week 10 related as that's Jajang's deal :).

 

Let's kick off with something simple like week 11 answers:

 

1) Will the Woman in Gold drop less than 18%?  NO

Let's look at preseason 1-5 and what can be answered:
 
 
Question 1: Will more than 3 films gross at least 110 million dollars Opening weekend domestically (3 day weekends count only)
 
1 film to go - AOU, JW, MINIONS

 
Question 2: Will more than two films gross at least 50 million dollars on opening day?
 

1 film to go - AOU, JW
 
Question 3: Will any film this summer have a worldwide weekend of more than 280 million?
 
YES - AOU AND JW AT LEAST
 

Question 4: Will any film make more than 51.5 million this summer in Australia?
 
I'LL leave this one to Jajang, although it is looking very no-like
 
 
Question 5: Will at least two films make more than 55 million dollars this summer in the UK box office?
 
YES - AOU and JW

Are individual questions added to everyone's weekly score or are they separate? (It wasn't counted towards my Week 11 score)

 

Also, Individuals are 20,000 or 30,000 Points?

 YES - JW made at least 220M before I stopped checking

Question 7: Will at least 2 films make at least a billion mill WW this summer?
 

YES - AOU and JW have already,
 

 

Question 8: Will at least 5 films, listed as a comedy (could be sci-fi comedy...horror comedy...must have comedy listed somewhere in the genre ) by Box Office Mojo, make more than 120 million dollars this summer?
 

Currently just pitch perfect
 

 

Question 9: Will at least 3 action films released after May, have a WW gross of more than 500 million?

Currently No
 

Question 10: Which combination of films will make more money domestically?
1) Terminator, Spy, Jurassic World  766m
2) Entourage, Spy, Hot Pursuit, Poltergeist  Spy's 100m + about 4 dollars and 19 cents
3) Minions, Insidious 3, Self/Less, Straight Oughtta Compton  186.3M

4) Avengers first ten days, Magic Mike XXL Even if it is AOU's total it needs MMXL to leg its way to abou 310M

 

Pretty safe to say this is 1

 

So 6,7 and 10 can be scored and will be shortly...

I believe it was 20k and I added it in the bonus section and then took the interesting approach to not add it to your total at the end. Let me get through these preseasons and I'll mess with the table to make it add up...
