VileDicTATEer Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm going to start this off with my own theory. This is regarding the layout of future phases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After seeing the reveal for Phase Three, I noticed something that might be a template for the future. If you look at the first three Avengers movies, you'll see that the first and second films are done in one go while Infinity War is in two parts. The first two were small scale films compared to Infinity War. I've heard others say that Secret Invasion is most likely the plot for Avengers 4. I disagree. Secret Invasion requires a lot of buildup. And that means that three phases will be dedicated to it, like Infinity War. Before Secret Invasion hits theaters at the end of phase nine, there will be two other Avengers movies for filler. I can't say for sure which plot these films will go with, but they will definitely not be universe-spanding. They will for sure have high stakes, but don't expect Guardians of the Galaxy to team up with Daredevil or Ant-Man until SI. Neither of the first two Avengers movies will be two parters. Secret Invasion though will be divided into two parts. So basically, for every three phases, there will be two small phases leading up to a third epic tie up phase. Every three phases will include a fallout from the previous two-part Avengers flick. This layout is probably what Marvel is going with because it best shows how they plan ahead. 1

He's the only villain besides Loki that isn't dead and is locked up in a highly guarded security prison. Also, since Thunderbolt Ross in Civil War, it gives me hope that they are not going to disregard the characters from THI like they seemingly have and use some of them in future MCU plot lines.

Since I know nothing about Strange, other than he's a mystic, I have to ask: why wouldn't he be on a tropical island in the Pacific? And why would Banner stay on a tropical island in the Pacific? If Banner can get from Harlem to India as TA implies, why couldn't he get from Fiji to wherever else he wanted and intersect with Strange. Once again, it's just a theory of mine.

Unless Fox wises up and hands over the rights to everyone within the Fantastic Four universe, Skrulls are not going to happen although maybe an inhuman similar to Silar (Sylar?) from Heroes who can shapeshift and multiply to take the place of the Skrulls in a Secret Invasion movie which would be pretty cool. The inhuman could also take powers from the avengers or even Thanos at the end of IW:Pt2 and end it with a cliffhanger while sending everyone into Phase 4 with every movie using the tagline Secret Invasion, similar to the Civil War spinoffs.

I thought he said he had a layout until 2028. I really hope this is true. it will be nice to actually have closure. it will probably be rebooted a couple years down the road though.
